How to Cancel your Easy Saver "Membership"
|
May 5, 2008 Easy Saver Rewards complaint by Lleg |
Page 1 of 2 I signed up to receive the ProFlowers.com discount and unexpectedly registered to for the Easy Saver Membership. I saw some charges to my checking account from Easy Saver which prompted me to find this site.
Reading the reviews, I figured I had better cancel ASAP. It is so easy (thank goodness). You probably received an email with your ProFlowers discount with your membership info.
Go to www.easysaverrewards.com and log in with your email address and zip code. You can find their phone number 1-800-355-1837 and call and request to cancel your membership. It was easy!
I cancelled as soon as I saw some bogus $1.95 charge coming from my checking account. Hopefully this will be the last I hear from them...

I to was victim to this scam. I ordered some flowers for my wife from ProFlowers (NEVER AGAIN!) back in February 2008 and I was enrolled in this "membership". I noticed the charges but mistook them initially for an entirely different store until I looked closely and realized that I'd been billed each month up to July 2008. I called the Easy Savers number and supposedly I'll be getting a full refund in 7 to 10 business days. We shall see.

Amaziningly enough , calling their number and getting the *address* to cancel it at didnt work .

I got signed up up for Easy saver through Baby.com. I didn't want it but if you give them your email for the Baby.com newsletter and purchase stuff from them it automatically registers you for easy saver. I called them to cancel and they were very nice and credited my card but only for the last month.

I just got off the phone with Easy Saver Rewards. They are pretty sneaky. Like most of you, I was ordering flowers from ProFlowers and some how Easy Saver got my credit card info from ProFlowers because I never signed up for their services. Anyways its easy to cancel just call their number (1-800-355-1837) and when you are done cancelling MAKE SURE you get the confirmation #. Good Luck to All!

I beleive that people need to pay attention when they are buying things on the internet or from infomercials. Hearing about these different free gifts gets anyone to join or say yes.
I think all you guys who say yes to these free offers and then forget to cancel should not blame these companies but blame yourselves for being greedy.

I agree with the poster it was easy to cancel. I accidentally signed up when I ordered some flowers from proflowers.com. (Easy to do if you don't uncheck a box.) Anyhow, I called them at 1-800-355-1837 and a polite customer service rep cancelled me from the program in less than 2 minutes. No worries, no charges, all is good.

yes me too!
On April 29th 2008, i ordered some slacks from Blair...
then came this offer to get $15.00 off on your next Blair offer... like an idiot i was interested and clicked on to this... it was a real false lead-on.
I just phoned their 800 number and cancelled this .. i was billed the $1.95, but that's my punishment for being such a dolt!
thank you to those above...
and you know, i never received any packet, and Blair should be ashamed to be even part of this sham!

I made a purchase through proflowers as well and "signed up" for the easy saver rewards. When I realized what I had done a minute later, I called right away to cancel. They said that my account would not be charged. I am going to double check. I'm concerned about canceling over the phone and later having the company say they never received a phone call or cancellation from me. It has happened to me before.
